Armor of the Angel by MajesticChicken Armor of the Angel by MajesticChicken
Colored up a Blood Angel suiting up in his Terminator armor.

Also, despite my best efforts, the resolution isn't so hot so you really don't want to use this image beyond 600px or so, 1258x1748 is going to make to the pic crumble quite fast.

Original artist is Adrian Smith.

This is one of my favorite warhammer pictures, it is so great to see all these black and white pictures being given color

I remember this picture from a codex long, long ago. The work you've done on it is amazing!

Good sir, despite my love for thousand-shades-of-gray pictures, your skills are most impressive. A tip of the hat to you!

But with this picture, I just have to hear a tiny voice from one of the servitors saying, "Yo dawg, we haerd you like power armor..."

Ah awesome, glad you like it!

Yes, glorious terminator armor. Well done with the colors it brings out the setting of the scene, particularly with the flame. It's being so bright would mean there is otherwise total darkness. Somewhat symbolic regarding the outfitting of the marine, and the possible light amidst 40k fog of war.

Note: Yes Marine armor is made up of numerous layers of ceramite/admantite (depending on what your wearing). It's a leangthy process arming a marine for battle made all the longer due to religious details.

Hey man I may have a smutty list of favorites but that's just due to age, and such...

Warhammer is my passion and I really do appreciate, and enjoy seeing so many 40k works colored. Games workshop should pay you quite honestly they'd make a bundle in sales. People want color, not black and white.

Do you also color fantasy, or do you reserve yourself to the grimdark universe?

Ah you are too kind, I am happy enough doing these as a hobby, though if I got paid for it people would probably see less pieces due to contractual agreements and such.

There are a few Fantasy pics in my gallery, mainly Skaven & Chaos.
