the thing i love about this pic (other then the excellent coloring job) is that its one of the few that show the tyranids getting curb-stomped all other Nid pics show the other races either in a heroic last stamd or getting torn to shreds, the necrons here dont even seem to be bothering with tactics or orders, like its some boring chore they have to do every so often
Hah take that you mindless bugs(relative speaking)! Go Necrons, cleanse this world of all live once againahahahhahahah....! But seriously I would still see the Necrons steam rolling the `nids for a while until they manage to adapt enough to the 'crons weapons (however they'll manage that is anyones guess) and then it either be a contest of tactics and strategy or endurance and attrition. This is just plain awesome keep it up.
New Imperial Guard battle plan: bait the Necrons into following them where they are under attack from Tyranids, fall back, then let the Necrons exterminate the endless living organisms of the hive fleet. True the Tyranids have nearly limitless troops, but the Necrons can't die.
it's a triarch stalker, its got a two shot melta gun that can also be used as a flamer, 4 attacks strength seven, kills shit, oh and any unit it hits with its gun is 'marked' meaning that any friendly units that also shoot at the same unit count their guns as twin-linked
Oooo right >< if i ever played i'd definitly use one or two of these. I don't have enough money for it but i wrote up detailsf or several different armies and in at least one i had like one or two of these
funny that the 'nids are fighting necrons, The tyranids ussually try to NOT got to necron Tomb worlds as they have nothing to devour there (Not even biological genetical structure as the necrons are machines).
He said that the Tyranids were a greater threat to the Imperium, but Tarkus said that the Necrons were a greater threat on the battlefield. The Necrons are new players to the game compaired to the Tyranids who have been whipeing out entire sectors of Imperium space. The Necrons are a slowly rising unstoppable tide that will down out all life in the Galaxy (and beyond if the origins of the Tyranis are any indication of life beyond our galaxy)
I think one of the alternate color schemes for Necrons involves red, or at least something not green. I was going to go with an alternate glow on one of the pics but figured most people would go "WTF? Necrons are green!" Perhaps another time.
Ah well, I'm all out of Necron pics where I could do that kind of experiment. Perhaps in the future, and the new fluff is a fine idea, just gotta use the names from the codex and it might seem seamless.
